After a relaxed lunch in the town of Dundee, journey to Domaine Drouhin Oregon for a rare tasting that spans two continents and more than 140 years of winemaking tradition. Begin with a welcome pour as your host leads you through the Dundee Hills estate, sharing the story of how the Drouhin family carried generations of Burgundian craft across the Atlantic to Oregon.

Settle into the secluded Secret Garden, overlooking the Willamette Valley, where a comparative tasting places Domaine Drouhin Oregon bottlings beside their Burgundian counterparts from Maison Joseph Drouhin. The experience reveals how a single winemaking philosophy finds voice in two remarkable regions, allowing you to discover the subtle differences that define Burgundy and Oregon, while tracing the family’s enduring pursuit of elegance.

The morning unfolds at Alexana Winery with an experience created exclusively for Savor & Cellar guests. The visit begins with a glass of limited-production rosé before you set out by Rover to explore the estate’s fifty acres. Along the way, you’ll discover the remarkable convergence of eighteen volcanic and marine sedimentary soils that shape the winery’s single-block program. The experience continues with a lunch designed by Chef Heidi Whitney-Schile, who sources produce, seafood, and meat from local vendors, letting the flavors of the season lead. Return to McMinnville for a bit of rest before an easy evening stroll to HiFi Wine Bar, a gathering space for the passionately curious, where the art of flavor, sound, and design converge. Over light bites and wines from around the world, you’ll be guided through this final tasting by the team’s sommeliers, Ben Denton and Davis Dixon, a relaxed and fitting close to your time in the hills.

The walk concludes with a three-course, Italian-inspired lunch, paired course by course with Alloro’s estate wines.
